I just bought a full set of FelPros for an L16/18 from RA for less than $60.

That is Rock Auto?
I need one for the L20b which if a place has them for the L16/L18, they likely carry the L20b sets also.

Yes, rock auto.

I had to get 3 separate kits. Upper, timing, then oil pan.
Total with the discount and shipping was like $58 and change.

I see a lot of upper kits for sale on ebay in the USA, but the only full gasket kits were overseas.
I have a full days work tomorrow, then I will look around here in Vancouver for a full gasket kit, things are not that urgent around my house anymore.

Upper kit and lower conversion kit. Should only be two kits. Last time I bought them it was 67 at Baxter's. No one makes a full kit anymore.

I have supposedly bought a complete kit from Tony's Auto Parts for $62.95(felpro) and a complete timing chain kit(everything) for $94.95, the ARP head stud kit is supposed to be here Sept. 2nd.
I have everything I need to put this together, oilpan, timing chain cover/water pump, super head, electronic dist/coil, I only need to transfer the exhaust manifold/SUs to this block when installing.
Well I guess I need spark plugs and wires, so I don't have everything.

I had it built a few years ago, it has 44mm intakes.
Someone else had one made with 45 or 46mm intakes, I think it was metalmonkey or master of turbonomics.

It's a thing of beauty. :)

I have the gaskets and timing chain kit now, waiting on the stud kit.
There is a chance of rain the next few days, so I cannot do any priming till next weekend now, I guess I will figure out something to do, I suppose I could drill some holes.

I did. They haven't shown up yet though. I wasn't going to mention them until they got here and I got them on the car. Thanks again for the lead.

I asked because the price has went up dramatically, at least what is available on ebay right now, it has jumped to $220.00 just like that.
There were a couple overseas vendors selling them for around $100.00 or less with free shipping, now there is only the one vendor and a guy selling a couple used ones.
BTW, every time I install them it gets easier and easier, but I did notice that there were 3 bulges on the edges where the mount balls/clips on the rims were, I think that outer ring is getting slightly larger every time I put them on.

I painted everything in the interior that had rust inhibitor on it with flat black paint(rattle can), then put a heater in the cab and walked away for several hours and worked on the engine, I forgot to take a photo.
Then I put sound deadening material in the cab in the afternoon, I used over 3 rolls, not sure if I am done yet, but I made some progress.

I keep looking at that red color, I might paint the truck that color, even though it likely won't look as nice as it would if I painted it off white, have not decided yet, the engine bay and interior are that dark red.

I primed the interior today, but first I removed all the windows, and I mean all of them, even the door glass.
I masked the dash and covered steering column with a bag.
I plan to put all the glass back in with new rubber seals that I already have, the rear window will be a slider.
I removed all the door seals, window channel felt, the wing windows as I will put new gaskets in them also, door locks and handles were also removed.
I will live with the ugly tailgate for now, and it is ugly!!!

I am going with an off white, I might stop by the paint shop and look at a few colors tomorrow, I really don't want refrigerator white, and I have decided that I really don't like the primer color either.
I suppose I should have waited and painted the interior before putting the sound deadening in, but I didn't think I would get to the interior this fast, work is kinda slow, so I was motivated this morning.

I put the first coat on today, everything was good until I was half way done and then all of a sudden the wind picked up. :(
I will clean it up tomorrow and put another coat on, the hood got the worst of it.

Well this is the color I went with, and I am so happy I didn't go with the stock Dark Red it was in the past, even though I spent a lot of time trying to get it smooth, I wasn't even close even though it felt smooth to me.

The first coat was easy to do, and I could tell where I was, the second coat I had trouble seeing where I had already done and got it too heavy in a few places and it ran on me, so now I have to wait till it is completely dry to sand on it and touch them areas up, one spot is in a bad area, the door.
