Adam:
I love it! In contrast I am moving the wipers above the headlight switch and eliminating the cigar lighter altogether, non smoking car, that way I com operate manual choke with left hand while start switch is on the right. Mostly a left handed thing. I hope you pulled the dash loose? It a little tough for us XL guys to get underneath a 1200 dash! Your dash is looking great!

Yeah, I took the dash face loose, too sore to crawl backwards and upside down. Found a short, power was spliced out of the switch and rubbed on the brake pedal, so I pulled the face out a bit to run wire over the cluster. . Used factory plugfcand factory wires for a extension. So if I get over it it can swap right back.

Always drove me crazy they swapped positions of the lights/washers between the 1200 and B210 especially when I would go from one car to the other. I'm so going to have to do something like this.

Thats an easy one. Put magnets in the drain pan. it will keep the metal flakes from circulating!

Yeah I slapped 2 on the pan before I headed home last night. But it died on the way home, and locked up untill I dropped the clutch, its burnt. Ran fine the rest of the way home, but that webber screw I sucked thru #3 did some damage, 50# compression, and wet on cylender 3.still runs great over 3500 rpm, but is a total dog below that. It had big chunks on the dipstick.... the dip stick!
Have to drop this a 14 in it on friday or so.
