well, i accomplished NOTHING this weekend.......
and i plan to accomplish even less as this weekend as it will be my B-day party Saturday and recovery/naps Sunday
but the block will get dropped off at the machinist this week sometime so when i get it back i can measure for bearing sizes.

Hot tanking occurs before any work is done. Its mainly so they dont gum up their machines, and to clean out the coolant passages. But if you arent having any metal milled off...

A. its my birthday! so booze and good times will be had
B. im dropping the KA off with the machinist, about $500 later and ill have a completely rebuild KA!!!
then i can out this bad boy back together, pull the L motor(which will be FS) and drop the KA in place

The machinist is gunna:
deck the head and block
polish the crank
balance the bottom end
rework the cyl head and set the adjustments
hot tank everything
hone the cylinder walls
and order me rings and bearing(i still have to buy these)
then all i have to do is put it all together.....
