Got called out to a job this morning to empty out production water tank, because it blew it lid.....literally.

Apparently, the vent and the hatch both froze up overnight, allowing the gasses inside to build up and go boom! It sent that solid steel pipe flying about 30 yards away.

It cracked half way around, tore the tank away from one brace of the catwalk and a few other cracks in the tank.

They shut down the well and will be replacing the tank.
