Spray some of the rubberized under coating or anything else heavy, into the doors, backside of the door skin. Makes the doors sound better.

Good tip! I'm going to try to apply some of the fat mat to the inside of the doors.. if that doesn't work or there isn't room.. it's getting coated fo sho.

Stick to the doors or stick at all?

This stuff is SUPER sticky. If I put a piece on incorrectly... fuck it. Such a bitch to try to pull off.

Doors. Mainly because the doors have some sort of factory coat which is very bumpy.

Yeah, I saw that in there. Good point. The other thing I thought of is that I might have to wait on this since I have some dent pulling to do on the doors and heat will be involved.

Did that pad have rubber on one side? If so it could trap moisture under it.

Two current blockers to get this car to canby, seatbelts and a leaky carb. Need front seatbelt solution.

Plan for carb.. swap on su's or find gasket set.

Bungees and SUs seems like a solid plan. If your car came with a battery installed it should already have at least one of the bungees you need.

Bungee seatbelt?

Need choke cable for carbs, which I know of one but it's far away.

Been looking at some custom aftermarket seatbelts. I've got 69 rear belts already.

I find that if tuned well, 38mm SUs barely need chokes. And that is only in the winter. I personally have started my wagon in 20 degree weather without chokes, just idled at 400 rpm until it warmed up. I find its easiest to start a car with SUs if you are in the process of pushing the gas pedal right as the first cylinder attempts to fire. I can usually get a "Bam", fired, started doing that, and not just cranking. Cold I would have to milk the throttle for about 10-15 seconds.
