So I did some things again, I still wasnt happy with the login not, erm, auto logging in. Found a post about some line in some file in some addon. So I deleted it...

ever since chat was disabled. About every few minutes the page won't load... says connection reset, and i have to refresh 30 times to get it to work again.. cleared cache, cookies, used a different browser. same story on all.

Yep.. it's related to the chat some how. It appears to disconnect people in pairs. It would kick me and Dan off at the exact same time.

I have no issues, I have a desk top, and am using google chrome ATM.

I hate the chat.


and saying you don't have an issue doesn't really change things, because others are having issues.

I need to talk to the developer of the chat.

Has something changed with the thumb ups? I used to be able to hand them out like beer after an AA meeting but now it's 3 or 4 I think. It's not that I tried to rep the same person over & over so that can't be it. And I haven't been on since friday so it shouldn't be "too soon".


Maybe I'm bitching too much about something miniscule; I just don't want to be selective about who I hand out interweb candy to.

I thought I had fixed that? Let me know if its still like this and I will go look again. My bad lulz (I set it to 15 likes an hour)

What happened, I had it set to 5 likes in 12 hours. But I didnt see the option that applied it per user. Basically you could like 5 posts from each person on the board in a 12 hour period. Later I found the option to set it to all users, thus only allowing 5 likes in a 12 hours period.

Basically whats the point of unlimited likes? To say that you read it and like it? Well comment!

It's possible. It's already setup that was in the classifieds. Not sure how that work work on the rest of the forums. Nothing like some trial and error. If it gets abused, it goes away.

For classifieds, it just makes sense.
