Any other pics of the orange '35 behind the woody?

Yes they do. And no, I literally only took 3 pictures.

Coming up with a way to mount my seats without hacking the shit out of the stock mounts. Building some brackets.

Image

Took all the locks to a locksmith matched them all up and got keys. My key before... a small screw driver. The only key that is different is the trunk now.. it's not an original 68/69 lock and is double sided. One day...

Oh yeah.. also bled the brakes again... 3rd or 4th time?

This time I just went and bought 15ft of clear 1/4" hose. Ran it from each bleeder to the reservoir.. pump pump pump...

Hose $3.... vacuum bleeder $20... MightyVac... $25..

psshh... Live and learn I guess. Brakes are feeling much better.. but haven't test driven it yet.

Tomorrow, my main mission is to find suitable front seat belts.. and mount them and my seats. No seat skins though... still waiting on the shop. Hoping to get them before Canby.

Can't really mount my mirrors until I know the seat height.. Flags have very limited adjustability cause wrong car.

Fucking crunch time now... lots of shit to do.. just a few days left.

Also... need to drive the car for a while and work out any bugs.

Yes, the hose method of bleeding brakes! The cheapest way to bleed brakes by yourself!

Flag mirrors. I dont have a problem with height. I have a problem with my forward/back location. Drivers mirror came out great with how I mounted them. Passenger mirror has a super limited POV. So I just rely on my Broadway mirror and use the passenger mirror to see how close to a curb I am. They really should be mounted closer to you as the driver, imagine having quarter windows and mounting them at the divider.

Found some seat belts today... paid too much I think, but they look like they will work. I just hope they are long enough. fuuuuuuu.....

Also I've been working on them for the last 5 hours or so... I claim the title of worlds slowest fabricator. Although... I'm trying to make it safe without drilling any holes or modifying the body in any way. So far, it looks like I'll only have to drill 2 holes total in the stock seat rails.

That's a commendable effort. I always try to "do no harm" when working on my cars too. Seems like I spend more time unfucking past owners' custom work than anything else when I get a new project. Major hackery is an absolute deal-breaker when shopping too. Glad to see you taking a respectful approach (not that I'm surprised). Your investment thanks you.
