Bumpity bump for the Bakken thread??
Sheesh, get the cpb webs out of here.

Anyways check this shit out.
We work for Mongoose trucking primarily and seem to always have to go fix their mess ups or rescue them cuz they messed up atruck. IE rolled it or its stuck in the ditch. This is the latest screwup

Image

Their driver was pulling into disposal and BAM!! Trailer axle came out from under his trailer.

Image

:yuno: do pre trip inspections??
:aykm:

Image

I'm like, are you effing kidding me??
So the dispatcher, with his tail between his legs, asked if we could load the axle up and take it to their shop in Fairview Montana. 50 miles away. Ok!

3 guys, a handy man jack and ratchet strap loaded a 5,000 pound axle into a service truck!!
:cha:

BAM!!!
Image

Thats how we do it in the Bakken!
:fyea:

Unloading was way easier...got to use a loader.

Today was fun too. The piece of shit trailer sat at disposal all night untill a flat bed showed up to load it and take it away. To the junk yard I hope. I got to hook up to it and back it onto the loadall trailer. Piece of cake....

Trailer had to be on the flat bed just right. Could not overhang on either side.
:cha:
I had quarter inch to spare on either side when done. One try.

Shit welds, blind drivers that dont do proper inspections and a safety guy that put this exact trailer out of service one week ago for a cracked frame.

:gscot:

Then the fuckers get mad at us for not wearing a fucking hard hat.?? Can you imagine if this happened out on busy US HWY 85???

:fuu:

Major lawsuits would have ensued for them.
