Went to drop Levi off at the Airport in Seattle. Picked up some parts on the way home :) also, a kc 620 with a ka24e swap in it. Looks like that will be the motor going into it for now.

Also, I scored a set of 280zx struts & rotors a couple days ago. Got them all ready for coilovers. Now I'm just waiting for parts to arrive...

Ahh what a day, after a day trip to Portland I came home with what seems to be a very solid ka24e & tranny. Only thing is the wiring harness isn't in the best of shape. So i'm looking for solutions there. Tired, i'll post more details in the next couple days. Got lots of work to do!

uh huh.. I layed out the wiring harness and got the rats nest straightened out a bit. Everything is labeled, yet there are a couple concerning splices. But we'll see what thats about soon enough.

I'm jelly of that trans. I want to get the ATP short throw shifter but that requires the trans you've got which is long. At least that's my understanding.

yeah dude, it came with a pretty hefty shift lever. Sort throw would be so nice. The 4dr was an auto, so the tunnel is completely uncut. Curious if auto tunnels were bigger than manual. much careful cutting soon

Not sure about 510s but auto tunnels were bigger on 1200s.

didnt seem like it on the 510 i converted to manual :|

COuld have been tho. There was no hole for the shifter under the carpet. Had to measure trans out of car and get a general idea of where it went.
