It was almost as fun to drive as a 510 .. it's just a lot heavier and faster. All the "fab" work up till now is going to be cut out and re-done

The project wasn't "serious" until the Miata showed up

It took about 20 hours to remove the dashboard and airbags ... but I still had to drive it to a local shop to evacuate the AC refrigerant

Once I knew it still drove without a ton of wiring ... I started tearing it apart:

Just need another hood for the center section, it's going to be 2 welds anyway, so why not a stock looking center over a non-stock looking center.
