Decided to stop being a lazy bastard, and climbed back under this truck ONE MORE TIME since the dust over was already off.
Whoever pulled the dust cover took the liberty of loosening 3 of the bolts and not tightening them. Spent 5 minutes tightening them up and this thing purrs like a kitten! Bump the key and it runs better than any other L motor I've had.
Thanks to everyone for advice on this one. Learning a little more every time.

Was awesome to get that bug worked out. Runs and drives great. Should drive the piss out of it, but need to send it down the road. Picked up a nice 620 last week that has been growing on my since the first time I saw it.... like the 620's way more than the 710s

I have this soft spot for 720s. I dig the boxy/squareness. something about a KC slammed on its nuts. Yes please!

You should come pick this 720 up! Would look better in your garage slammed on its nuts than in my driveway!
I like the 720 4x4's but these do nothing for me. Picked it up as a challenge and the price was right.

What year was this 720 again?
I'd love me a 2WD 720.

Mm. my favorite year of 720, besides the 85 ST KC.
Is yours a king cab? How much are you asking now that it doesn't shimmy? PM Me
