Busted my ass all weekend... but I got the part of the fence and gate rebuilt with NOS wood and also installed a new OEM window in the house. Blew all the leafs out of the yard and dumped that shit into the street.

Also fortified the fence a bit more with chicken wire. The true test will be when I go home tonight and see if my fence is still standing and if the dog is home. lulz..

This is what came out of my exhaust when I had it running.

I had some exhaust bolts to drill out. And I'm going to delete the old air pump.

If you ever want to get rid of that finned valve cover, let me know.

Ordered new clutch, heater hoses, Intake gasket, Exhaust gasket.

Still need front crank seal and valve cover gasket. I'm thinking about reinstalling the 4 speed for now. I've got the parts to build the dogleg. But I still need to get some of them from Devilsbullet.

Thinking about locating a matchbox dizzy and mayyyyyyybe some SU's. But that's back burner stuff. If the price is right, I'll jump.

Also, I got the exhaust manifold off.. started drilling out the bolts and snapped my drill bit. Boo... gotta buy some more from HF.

I cut off all the air pump smog crap. I'm going to pull the injection port plugs and weld them up and re-install.

Today was a success.
Bought Matchbox Dizzy and coil from yard $60.

Got new clutch, exhaust, intake, and oil pan gasket.

Still need to get front crank seal and valve cover gasket. I'll try to source those locally.

What yard had one? I looked a week or 2 ago and couldn't find one anywhere.

Yeah... almost fits. Good eye. It's hung up on the bolts that hold it together. I am going to put a shim on top and it will fit perfect.

for 37 bucks a guy can't complain. Better than dragging it around eh!

Small win is still a win.

I managed to find the original glove box door for this car. It's still 'farm fresh'. I'll get to cleaning things up later. Installed it.



Also... managed to find the original glove box. Woo hoo! It's in really nice shape. Could use a little cleaning as well.. I'll get there.
