Are you leaning toward a bolt on zg type or mold in flares? Or making metal ones?

The ride looks smoother than my 1200.

Re: my 77 kingcab
with an inch and a half of travel in the suspension, it does pretty good..
i was lookin to get some bolt on flares, but if i have to make some ala erich, then i will..
i found the wheels i want..
but itll be a while before i can afford em. that and i dont know if ill need flares or if i can pull the fenders enough.
well see how it goes... id rather have the balljoint swap and a 3 link right now..

Re: my 77 kingcab
Would def have to roll that..
My old slammed 620, the rears had to be rolled to fit the tires... it tucked, and it was slammed out hard... you couldn't fit your fingers between the finger and the metal...

yeah, ill have to roll it fershur...
i pulled on it a bit for the pic. me and fernando are gonna get all of the wheels holding air. im gonna get em balanced, and run em for a few weeks.
its time to get them to fit on the back! im gonna test it again in a few day with how its pulled right now, and see how much it needs to go..
there will be pics...

Re: my 77 kingcab
Those look pretty damn cool. I had some 15x10's on a 620 once. Wasn't as low as yours and without stretched tires it rubbed everywhere. Switched it back to 15x7's.
Oh, and I would have to lay a quarter, nickel, and 4 pennies across my wheels

Re: my 77 kingcab
did some tinker work on the truck today.
painted the hood..
i dig it a lot!
i also resolved the issue with the carb not coming back to idle.
i took the bellcrank off and welded a L shape with a nice hole. drilled a hole in the throttle cable bracket, and bam!
works great now.
the carrier bearing fix fell apart too, but i fixed it...
more to come...
