Breather passed the visual inspection.. doesn't appear to be dirty or clogged. So I'll plan on replacing the wheel bearing and seal. I'll pay to have someone struggle with the new bearing.
The only thing though... trusting someone else not to fuck it up.

I never did replace the seal on the rear axle.. it just stopped leaking. Yes, I confirmed there is still oil in the diff.. lol

I just ordered new upper and lower control arms for this. Also new OEM shocks for all 4 corners.. new rotors and pads for the front as well.
Still chasing a shimmy. I know the control arm bushings are bad.. so I'll start there and see what else is worn out. After I get everything installed I'll take to get the tires balanced (again) and have it aligned.

Did you get new adjustment cams also for the control arms??
The cams that are in there currently are probably super rusted/damaged. Truck as old as yours is just doing an alignment is damn-near impossible because the cams are rusted out.
Money well spent to put new ones in. Anti-seize the fuck out of them upon install.

I didn't, but I budgeted for them. I am praying to baby jesus I can reuse em.. but I'm guessing I won't be able to.

I'd rather have them and not use them than the other way around.
I won't replace control arms at work without the cams too. I won't even pull the truck in unless the parts are in hand.
On the cams, both sides to all 4, there are little notches. Mark those notches to where they line up on the frame. Upon assembly, line up notches of new cams to the paint marks left from old cams; your alignment won't be perfect but it will stay even enough that you can drive it and not spend too much time fiddling with getting it straight.

Yeah, you are probably right. I should just buy them. I can resell/return if not needed. Probably will be needed.. ugh.

Got some work done on this.. just waiting to get it aligned.
New brakes/rotors
New shocks
New upper and lower control arms
Drives pretty nice now. But still have a bit of a shake.. going to have the wheels balanced again.

Ended up buying the adjuster cams for the lower control arms.. but they were all loose. So now I need to sell them.
