Place DMT stickers all over it and beat the ever living piss out of it on ever bump/hole you find.

I'm assuming one from a '75 short bed won't work.

A. I don't give a fuck what anyone else under my truck thinks about it so black paint won't help....

B. The only DMT in my life has nothing to do with mini truckn

I'm wondering if were thinking of the same DMT that isn't the DMT I originally spoke of.

also dropping off my rear axle shafts to have the backing plates removed and new bearings pressed in

Sweet man. nobody really ever does the rear bearings. They have just as much wear as the front if not more from heavy loads (tho the front has an engine all the time) Haven't really come across a bad one in my datsuning. but it surely can't hurt.... with your axel out, should have them reset the tension and such in your pumpkin to make sure its wearing correctly too. Anyone can swap out the gears, but setting them right is another thing...

not interested in spending more $ right now....

the truck i pulled my new tank from was titled a 78........ but wasnt actually a 78 (vin swap)



some 77's and all 78/79 trucks have FRAME mounted tanks



Soooooooo i need a frame mounted tank





the only difference i know of so far is that long beds are unique
