All of the following happened in this
For the record I hate being cold...
Jessi cleaned up parts while I installed
New EFI rated fuel line
Ended up finding 2 cracked rubber fuel lines so dropping the tank wasn't all for not
Filler neck and associated lines are in with new mounting hardware
Gotta drill out two more snapped mounting bolts for the tank then It can go back in
Also got the front leaf spring bushings mod done
Once the tank is in the leafs are next
And I picked up some brake in oil for the KA

I wanna come play! But alas, I am banished from Datsuns til I finish the work on the house! Actually I am going a little crazy with all the house work, and a bit tired. Soon.

You're a bunch of badasses. Too cold for my tired old bones. Me and my fat dog haven't ventured out of the house for more than 2 minutes at a time in 3 days. There's no heat in my shop so it's basically just a shelter from the wind. I worked out there Thursday night for a couple hours and had enough. You guys look like you're making great progress.
Estimated fire-up date?

Thanx! If I don't get my ass out there it will never get done and this is supposed to be my DD...
We did pick up a new space heater for the garage today, it was almost 10 degrees warmer, a balmy 40

Well I've got the gas tank and lines back in now and bolth leaf springs are in as well but I need to go get hardware to bolt the leafs together.

The bolt to hold it all together? If so, thats a fun one! I had to fix a friends once since his snapped. Used a regular bolt, rounded the head to fit in the axle hole, and assembled. At work I have just drilled the hole bigger for aftermarket springs. Its also really not fun to get the leafs to align to tighten it.

Ya aligning the holes was a pain...
And I ended up enlarging the opening on the axle just a bit to accept the bolts I'm gunna end up using
But I have no nuts that fit..... And I'm out of crush washers so it's off to ace tomorrow
