Lol thanks driven. They are getting harder to find.

I love this thing.. It's been good so far. Have had some minor issues. But dude.. The thing is pretty solid. The door seals are good. Heater works great. Wipers, lights everything. Suspension is nice and tight. Rides like a dream. Not loud, smooth. Even the nasty bumps and shit.

It had some pinging, leaky radiator etc.

So far. Replaced wires, rotor (cap on way). Plugs, water pump, oil pressure sensor, used some stop leak on the coolant system. Replaced the thermostat. Other than that just been driving it and tuning it. Removed all the smog stuff

Dude this thing still had the smog pump on it and hooked up and working.

If it was all there and working why did you remove it?

I guess I'm more in the, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it camp." Was just curious is all. Tim knows what he's doing.

Seems like a universal forum truth with new guys, no matter what the make/model is. First post is always, "Hey. New guy here, just joined. I just bought a really clean, stock XXXX. Car runs perfect but I want more power. How do I remove all this emissions crap?"

Yep, that is about how it is.
The Datsun engines are not all that powerful and that is why they last so long, if one keeps water and oil in them they will last a very long time because they are not powerful enough to tear themselves apart.
So the search for power begins soon after purchase, and when one looks at all that smog crap on them engines one thinks that it cannot be good having all that crap on there.
The thing is that vehicles didn't pollute this planet, industry polluted this planet, and vehicles got the wrap(fingers pointed at them), pointing fingers at vehicles got the industries a few more decades of polluting unchecked, when all that pollution didn't go away then the industries had to start fixing their emission issues as the people were pointing at them now.

Driven,

I totally get your point. Man I hate cutting stock wiring, plugs, don't like drilling holes in the metal panels anywhere. Even when it's hidden. I kind of wanted to keep it, but no reason to keep it I guess. It still has the stock carb, which seems to mostly work well. Pretty sure the accelerator pump is non op. Anytime from a stop taking off it cuts out for a second. Or if I don't have my foot on the gas and switch a gear... It just feels like it's not squirting gas in there and has a slight cut out. So opting for a weber and figured it would be gone then anyways.

heading home from work. WIll be on and posting here in just a bit. Lots going on over the weekend. More cool things to come!

New things are happening around ma house...

Went and swooped a 78 four door auto for the wife. One owner, little old lady. Radio delete, but has AC. Dome light works, horn works, everything works really. Heat works awesome. Gas gauge is off like every fucking b/210 Ive ever had. The mother fuckers never work right!!

Anyways. The smog pump is locked on her car. so no belt for the AC. Just happened to take the one off my 210. So will use it in the place so she can have ac once I get the lines converted over to R134

Ill try and get pics up soon. Working ATM

Hayashi command 400 / 3 piece wheels. Welded center so now 2 piece. Going with gun metal gray powder coating

Then some federal 595 180/60r13

Nah, the one you're using is better than the one between your shoulder and fingertips.
