Started tearing down the front end

Image

Got side tracked and installed a good set of struts. Springs were cut. Lowered it a little.

Will be getting another complete set. Going to cut the lower perch on those and move it down roughly two inches

Well, that maybe possible soon.

Got a brand new fuel pump on the 77 hatchback. She runs again. Running the wifes stocker carb on it. It needs to go the fuck away and I want a weber or 1200 carb.

my red 79 has some slight issues when driving. There is always a miss off idle, plus a dip while foot just barely on throttle. It feels vacuum leakish. So saturday, I sprayed some starting fluid around to try and find it. Sprayed the base of the carb, and idle changed. Pulled the carb off, and someone decided to use RTV for a fucking gasket because the carb spacer has a small crack in it. I cleaned it all up, made new gaskets out of gasket paper. It's slightly better, but I really need a weber on the thing or a different carb. Tired of dicking with this old stocker.

I had those same wheels on a hardbody I owned. They shine up nicely for sure.

I was given this truck. I have to install a trans into a 720 king cab. Small price to pay

This was a custom truck at one point obviously. Canopy has a seal and there is no back window. Custom paint. I like the patina. I am using Norton polish to preserve it. It cleans up. Polishes. And gets in deep like glaze. Not hard to do. Won't take too much time.

I tried stuffing the trans into the truck from the bottom but am not strong enough. So motor is coming out. This truck is also an AC truck. So lots of stuff to carefully remove. Keeping the AC and don't want to breathe r12 so carefully just taking the pump off the block and working around it. I'll get the motor out, replace the front and rear main seal, oil pan gasket. Mate the trans and stuff it back in.
