Still looking for a fan.. and clutch. Or just a fan and the pulley.. Ni10 might have one that'll work. I need to measure shit and figure it out.

It already started to bubble a bit... so it's working. But you can't see it in the pictures..
Next up.. either more sand blasting or I'll spray the ospho treated areas.. I need assemble the "blasting" booth again. This time it will be a spray booth..lol. Then I need to figure out if my cheap harbor freight HVLP gun is worth a shit for spraying primer. I'm such a HVLP noob..

Next steps..
Strip the entire drivers side rear quarter and spray with zero rust.
knock out some dents in the quarter
Filler and block
Epoxy primer
Once it's in epoxy.. I might leave it there until after Canby. We'll see how much time I've got.

Also my HF HVLP gun sounds like a dying duck.. I don't think that's normal.

Wow!!
That's looking tons better man. Keep it up. It's gonna look good just in primer alone

I was able to find a fan. It's a fixed blade with no clutch. Seems to be fine. I do like fan clutches though.. especially when you forget your wrench on the crank bolt. lol
I got everything back together today and was able to start it up. The engine still vibrates pretty good, even after installing new stiffer mounts. I'm not convinced it's running right. It's probably about 80%. I'll probably get it nice and hot and adjust the valves again and see where that gets me.

I have a HF HVLP gun.. but the tip is too small for spraying primer. Also the gun is really not that great. It functions.. but I wouldn't use it for anything but primer.. and since the tip is too small for primer.. it's not really useful.
That being said, I bought another gun today. The Devilbiss startingline with a 1.8mm tip:

When I do color and clear, I'll use a SATA.

Fuel or valves. I'll get it toasty hot and compression test it again. Then adjust the valves if needed. If still crap... back to the fuel.
On the plus side.. I confirmed the weber I have is jetted for the l16. At least it's jetted to the weber baseline. I found the Jets were swapped from the primary and secondaries. So I fixed that. Still lugs from idle if you punch it.
More work to do..
