but stock motor works super well! I can actually tell the 2 speeds apart! I have a bigger issue with the wiper arms not applying enough pressure, and then the blades chatter.

Anyways, lawn mowing is complete. Just waiting for my friend to call saying he is ready to go to the JY.

Well went to the junkyard, got the LCA stud from the b210. The t/c pocket I didn't like, I'll figure something else out.

Got some work done. LCA is straight, yay! stud took all the damage. Tie rod bent, sway bar endlink bent (just a bolt), TC pocket ripped off.

Your wagon appears to have come out of the carnage pretty clean.
Still sucks; but not to bad.

Got some more of the harness done; I have elongated the necessary wires for the fuse box relocation. Soldering 14ga kinda sucks...

Tomorrow I need to go pick up some special female spade connectors (the type that snap into the plastic housings). This will allow me to do the relay relocations.

And if I feel really enthusiastic, I might start filling some of the holes in the engine bay.

Nevermind I got impatient. Ill fix it later, like when I build a new engine harness (I like to have solid runs of wires without breaks)

Anyways, did some more to the harness. Horn and Headlight relays relocated and converted to modern Bosche style.

Horn relay started with one of these:
Image

Re arranged some the of the wires.
Image

Notice it being a 5 pin socket, but only 4 terminals inside.
Image

Here I combined 2 of the terminals. The stock wiring for the Horn relay used the same power wire for both the coil and the horns them selves. So that is what I am doing here (Going to pins 86 and 30 I do believe)
Image

Strip some wires
Image

And solder!
Image

Now onto the headlight relay. First things first, Depin the old connector. First place the B/R wire on one of the sides like this.
Image

next we need to connect the low beam wire (R/B) to pin 87a, or the center of the relay.
Image

The green wires attach to the opposite side as the B/R wire, so either to pin 85 or 86 for the relay.
Image

The R/W wire is the High beam wire and we connect this to the top pin (Pin 87).
Image

And finally, we take one of the ground pins and plug it into the bottom. You only need 1 wire, as they are connected in the harness further on.

Well, looking at the car, trying to figure out where to shove all the relays and stuff inside. The Fusebox I just mounted to the same holes as normal, just from below.

So then I decided to make a plate, and I remembered I had some left over ABS sheeting.

Through the glove box hole.

from below, mounted with 2 screws, and 2 clips (attached to car for insulation holding)

Holes I made by taking a screw driver I dislike, making the tip red hot, and melting the plastic. These fit nearly perfect with the clips.

Did some more wiring on the harness. Signal wires for the HID relay box hooked up. Passenger headlight wire ran. Still have a decent amount to run.

Also, gotta incorporate a kill switch... its quite nifty.
