Dana 30 in front, out of a cj7 with 620 disks and calipers (4.27), and stock 620 rear with what I think is a 720 3rd member (4.625)DRIVEN » Sun Dec 13, 2015 6:42 am wrote:What axles are under it?

Always wanted one, But not many around these parts, and what is usually is far to rusted for my liking
Welcome Datsunwizzard. That's one clean truck there!!! Looks like the original Datsun blue on top and love the graphics.Datsunwizard wrote:Thanks guys, thinking about changing the wheels cause I can't find any 14" tires. I have a set of the Nismo 16" wheels new in the box that I might use, but I sure like the D slot looks. From my research the Nismo's need spacers, but 16" tires are readily available.

I have 215/60R14 on there now, I could go up to the 225/60R14. The ratings on the tire that you mentioned are not that great, plus they have raised white lettering that i could turn around I guess. From my research the BF Goodrichs are made as a replacement for the muscle cars.Welcome Datsunwizzard. That's one clean truck there!!! I'd keep the wheels that are on it. Same rims I had on my black 73 back in the day. Googled 14" tires and your right. There is not much out there anymore. BF Goodrich makes a 225/60R14. What size do you need?
That would make for some "interesting driving" - I'm guessing the rear just "slips" a bit here and there, to keep up with the front?620Turbo4X4 » Sun Dec 13, 2015 7:49 pm wrote:Dana 30 in front, out of a cj7 with 620 disks and calipers (4.27), and stock 620 rear with what I think is a 720 3rd member (4.625)
