Re: Bratmobile aka slick willy
I think those compression numbers are better than what I have on my B after a head gasket... tho there is a good ridge, the cylinders walls have been well used.
I need to get on top of the motor swap, fuck I am slacking with all the other little projects going on with these cars...

Im getting more and more sad each time I paint more of my car black. Good thing is that the inside is blue Also Im starting to see how many dings and dents that werent visible when it was blue. not cool man...not cool.

Why are you painting on it? I'd hit that shit with a buffer and show off every single battle scar.

kinda sounds like what i'm doin with the z. makin some funny sounds part of the time, and part of the time it makes no sounds, but they work just fine. gotta find me something new to drive so I can put her down for a while, since I have 0 time to figure it out ATM...and damned well done on the engine swap!

Re: Bratmobile aka slick willy
brakes themselves are actually fine. its that stupid brake light bump stop bullshit keeping my lights on. its all fixed now. Im going to take some better pics of it tomorrow. I'd love to say I had a hand in the engine swap but I really did minimal work. it was a rush job so my man wanted me out of the way. no learning for me I did make my very first gasket though! woo! and I cleaned some parts lol.

Re: Bratmobile aka slick willy
I was checking my oil the other day and panicked a little because I couldnt see anything on the stick...I turned the stick a little and sure enough oil levels are fine.
I've never in my life checked the oil in a car and seen it so clean. hehe hooray for fresh oil.
