Bumps stops are in the future, Don't worry we're just putting around for now. First I have to get her to stop, I am using my gears for brakes

Update!!

The wagon is still in the bodyshop, they have done lots of good work to her, like replacing the rockerpanels, etc.

However the window and door seals are breaking when being removed. Our dry climate helps cars from rusting, but our hot summers are hard on rubber parts like these.

We ordered a complete wagon seal kit for windows, doors, everything really. It should be here soon.

Be patient it's coming.

So had a few minutes to swing by the shop today.

Apparently they are swamped with insurance jobs. May not be done till the end of Feburary

Oh well let's hope it will be worth the wait.

I was wondering if anyone has ordered these before? That kinda scared me a little.

Kenny, Datsunland so cal, is a bit of hit and miss,Some have had great dealings with him some not.
I would confirm(at least) with him to see if he has them in stock ,and ready to ship,maybe Jacob can chime in here,as he has bought from him.

lol i freaking love this car well worth the 100 a month in my opinion its got a header so no pre cat failure to worry about the only think i dont think was done was the butterflies in the intake thing even came with a warrentee

The ex-wife made me trade it in for something that would get a little less heat

A Co-Worker has been keeping an eye on my wagon for me. Today I got a text from him. He texted me a picture.





After a year in the bodyshop she's finally getting some color.
Picked up some centercaps and new fender badging as well.

Very exciting!

Looks like it's gonna be nice...if it ever gets finished. My current project has been in paint jail for over 2 years and hasn't progressed as far as yours. Keep us posted.

I was on vacation last week, so I visited my wagon in the paint jail.

Just needs to be cut, buffed, and put back together. The guy at the shop is really nice, and did a lot of extra work for me, so I am patient.

He shaved the rear markers, and the holes under the taillights.

I figured since it has early fenders, it might as well become an early wagon clone.

Currently I am piecing together an early dash, just need to find a grille.

Well after 2 years in paint jail she was released for good behavior!

That was torture!!!

I have still been collecting parts, New rims and tires (6 spokes), new front badging is going on with new front running lights. I polished out the front bumper to like new.

The new paint made my interior look horrible, so I am addressing that next!

Still lots to do, and I am forgetting a ton of stuff, but super busy with work right now, be patient more good stuff to come.
