How do you plan to do that? With a broacher? I can't think of any other easy way.

Yeah I have to use a broach arbor. I have the .125" broach I just need the press now. Oh and make the 1.125 insert broach guide with shims.

FlatCat19 it is aluminum.

I have to do a tach for the A12 in my car. So give me examples and this could be a reasonable item coming up.

One of my most desired items. It required. A proprietary oilpump shaft to operate a gear on the front cover there. That then 90ed into a cable. I saw one on a forklift years ago and have always looked for one.

The shaft is a super simple item to make. Metric shoulder bolt with a tig welded key drive on top. I want the worm gear drive for the tack cable!!
