One of izzo former 510 goons is up for sale on Portland's club. Can't figure out how to link from my phone, but it's a 69 rattle can blue with l20 and 4 speed, maxima front suspension and brakes, rustinas old goon, 1000 bucks.

fuck thats cheap! That car had documented 450k miles on it.... I left the documents in the glove box... I installed its third motor, he installed its 4th. Original trans....

Says it's still goin but needs a tune up and alignment. If I had a grand I'd buy it, steal the gas cap for my 68, and resell it for a grand. Be 300 bucks ahead and someone's still gettin a cheap goon lol.

Yeah it had a nice gas cap. I bought it off the second owner who bought it used in 72

I can't tell you how much i want to buy that and drive it back and forth in front of my ex's house. Fucking cunt.

I actually dislike that car. It didnt feel good going down the road.

I don't remember how nice it was, all I know is that 68 and 69 have 2 year and goon specific caps, and my wife lost mine. 300 buck gas cap ftl

Wouldn't know. Got that motor in it, hooked it up, dind't even get the fucker tuned before i hadda sell it.

I didn't like the setup he did either... I'd probably go back to stock if I got it back. I have NO money, none... I want a project car for the side of my house that I can work on when I want.. But just no money.

I could sell my dirt bike and probably buy a nicer 510 for 2 grand...

I got a good project you can have to play with for 350:-D

Someone needs to go get this, that's likely a good deal for something that hard to find for sale, but I have not actually seen it to know what kind of deal it is for sure.

Yep, I talked to the guy first thing yesterday morning. I was the first person he called--I sent him a deposit via paypal....called again--he said lots of guys called, offering more money...the dude wont answer my calls now. His name is Bill and he said he was selling for a friend. I told him I was in the studio recording and I would make it later with cash to match the offer. We had a gentleman's agreement on the deal via the deposit....some people. If he didnt want to do the deal, man up, let me know....

Tell you what man. I had that wagon sold to a guy up in washington. Erick begged me to sell it to him instead... SO the guy in washington sold his car and was gonna come get it... and i flaked on him and sold it to erick.

I felt bad. and i should feel bad. That was my bad, and failed on integrity.... Never again, first with cash gets shit now days. no holdsies.

I did have two of them at one time, I sold the 2nd one because I was going to get in trouble making a double cab out of one NL320 and one L320 combined together, a long NL320, but I started to get some shit just talking about it.
I learned something that day, don't talk about it, just do it and then show everyone the result after it is done, like my 521 kingcab, it was mostly welded together by the time I posted photos of it.

Well, I did send him money via paypal....and told him I would pay the going rate---THE LEAST he could have done was tell me what was up...

Besides...no big, all I was gonna do is fix and flip as I have the car I want already...not butt hurt...just a little sore....lol....anyway, my time in the studio was worth way more!
