Took it for another 10 mile test drive. It seemed to do really well. Plan is to get a muffler on it.. maybe get it aligned. Then put miles on it before canby.

I've got a bunch of small things I need to take care of.

Thanks! No more bottoming out the struts at this height either. A bit of rake though... but it is what it is. I'll probably realign it in my garage this weekend.

Ghetto style, chuck the threads in a drill, clamp the drill trigger to spin. Take a cut off wheel and grind off the materia, makes it even all the way aroundl. I have done this a few times...

Works fine for me. That's the exact method we use to resurface plungers on Denso starters at work when we replace contacts.

I dislike bondo work and sanding, I am no good at it, I keep doing the same spot over and over and it's no better.
I find people to do it, but by the end of the job they lose interest in the job and don't work on it anymore, so it sits, I call them artists, they work when they feel like it, which isn't very often.

It's not fun.. so much work. I've got a few more rounds of filler and blocking and priming and blocking to go before the color goes on. Then it needs color sanded... uhg.

Installed new T/C rod bushings and button top hardware on the camber plates for more adjustability without hacking the towers.

Lol my tires would be bald by the time I get there. I checked the toe today. After replacing the tc bushings and lowering a bit more I am 1/8th" total toe out. Not good. If I have time I'll adjust.. otherwise it's gonna drive 15 miles. Probably not a huge deal.

The low pro switch didn't work. It was about 3mm to short. I tried to grind the face of the switch a little for more clearance and almost immediately cut into the guts of it. Not enough extra meat on it to modify. So I grabbed an old switch and pushed out the tunnel a bit. It works. Now I have reverse lights.

Fixed the dome light and dash lights. I can see!!!!

No luck fixing the front marker lights though. I have a bunch of them.. but all the bulbs are rusted into their sockets.. and the housings are trash.... I'll be looking for some at the show!

SU's have been dropped off at Z therapy.

Just bought a new collapsible antenna from thailand. Hope it's worth a shit..

The car has been great! I've put about 400 miles on it. It gets a little warm in 80+ weather. I gotta figure that one out. My guess is the radiator is clogged with shit. I've flushed it like a mofo and it was dirty. But the coolant is back to rust color after putting miles on it.
