The cutter I need to do it is rather pricey. Not much of a priority. Excited about a new build thread starting from one Brown, eh?

Installed the Pedal Assembly/steering. Working on installing the Brake master and lines. I'm using a booster out of a 620, snugs up so nicely in the corner. Heres what i'm thinking

fuck yeah, parts storage, and its out of the wya

I didn't know 620 boosters worked. did you use the b210 adapters, then the 620 booster or what? Or were the older 620 boosters just smaller?

This one seemed smaller than usual. But it barely fits up in there. Do the b210 adapters have 4 bolts or 3? this was 3, so I just drilled it to make it fit. I'd like to fix it. May just cut it and redo it. Maybe even shorten that extension some.

Couple other things i've been working at. Installing pedals, Laying some insulation layers pre carpet, Sealing and shortening some struts. The rear xmember should be ready soon.

Scrubbed down the front crossmember, appears the mounts have been modified somewhere in their life. The welds definitely don't look stock... Just need to build the mounts for the engine itself. Kinda terrified but i think I can do it. Here's some photos with 620 engine mounts for some reference on where its currently sitting.

Interesting. You have a truck block with a car intake.

as far as i know, the b210 spackers and stuff bolts right up. I think you had the shorten the rod just barely.

Finishinng touches on the rear cross member are done. Went to pick it up last week. Man.. is it awesome.
Moves pivot point up 1" from stock, swivel to self align, exhaust hole drilled out to 3 1/2". A friend who designed them swears by them. So we'll see how they are soon enough.

By the weekend it should be. Just need to finish sealing up the bottom. I took the whole thing down to the primer layer.
Found a couple pinholes of rust. But easy fixes thankfully!

Working on playing catchup on my thread here... After Canby, I returned home excited. I was sorta waiting for Canby for some motivation and inspiration and well.. It worked. Although the whole KA swap is there. I believe I will be going a different route for now. AT Canby, I came across a L16 motor at a good price. So I talked Levi into buying it for my broke ass. After we get it home we cracked it open to find it had .50 over pistons.
Image
Was surprised as the fella only said it was "a stock l16 he swapped out right after he bought it." Yeah right dude... Beyond that, on my workbench was an a87 that had needed to be gone through. Image
Image
Image
More than anything, I just want to drive the damn thing. And this motor would be a good start as to making that happen in a hurry. I can further upgrade later :D
Beyond that... And since I can't afford actual suspension finishing touches, im left with a big ol pile of struts... Image

Hmm.. So looking at the pile of struts and springs, I used some 210 perches & springs on the shortened 280zx struts. So much more tire clearance from rubbing on the springs that way. yessss. It will work for now
Image

So now we're resting like this. Giving Levi the KA swap since he needs it, and he's giving me the rest of the 510 l series things I need to complete the l16.
