Free to good home.. 4sp transmission. It's dirty.. but works. I know just about everyone has one of these.. but it's freeeeeeee.

You haul it.. I'll load it.

Why must you be so far away?

I would take this. Clean it, and store it in my garage. Then install a new seal in the back of it, and wait for my next project. Sigh.

I can give it to Eagle Adam next time he's down if that makes it any easier.

I believe that hainz or someone with a name like that told a story about a guy that had two 4 speed transmissions for a 521 that he wanted gone, so he put them out in his front yard with a free sign, the next morning there were 3 transmissions in his front yard.

I laughed when I read it also, that is one of the few things like that, that I can remember, it left an impression on me, very funny.

The last one I had I forced on Eagle Adam when he bought an L20b from me. "Sorry dude, you have to take the 4-speed too." The engine is in a certain red 710 wagon. No idea where the transmission went. He probably had to force it on someone else in a similar fashion.

He gave me a 4 speed which I used in my 80 720. It looked like out of a car. IDK tho.

Hell, 5 spds are never this popular.
Usually the 2nd or 3rd post is SOLD and the shit gets locked up.
