Well I've been chatting on mini chat about this for some time and i think im pretty sure.

BUT for the sake of having a thread in this section,

Do 68 front window regs interchange with the other 5 years?

Laeceon has told me the rears have different handle locations.

Rears are located differently yes.
Not interchangeable.
68 only fits 68.

sory but is this for a 2 or 4 dour. Might have a 68 dr (4 dr), how do you tell the differences from the 68 to the 69-73 years.

yes its for a 68 four door.
well check the door jambs for one and the dash is a huge difference.
check if the dash has one long speedometer or circle gauges.

what you mean" check the door jams". Is the latch in a different location ?
Reason I ask is, I got a 68 4 dr parts cars and it came with all the doors but their not the originals ones and not sure if their 68 or later 510 dours.

oh nvm. i thought you had meant in general how to tell the difference.
For 68 doors, I actually don't know the difference.
If you do figure it out. I'm interested.

You can post some pics and I'll post some of mine to compare.

I'll look at the 68 and the 72 today and compare the latch and the window regulator plus see if the 68 window crank will fit on the 72, but like Lou says " 68 only fits 68 " is prob true. I've heard this also before.

I dont have another model to compare the 68 regulator to.
I can't seem to find a regulator to buy anyways.


i already had this pic and its not much but for now.

68 window crank only fits 68. along with many other annoying ass bits and pieces. this is why you cant find one that fits datmo. parts stores don't carry the one year only shit. makes me all when I go to get parts.

i did on ratsun and im not 100% sure that i made one the realm but i did mention it on another post there.
I also made a cl ad.

The Realm might be your best bet after Ratsun.

Mikey said all he has is a 69 but he said the parts should work and the handles are interchangeable.

I'm pretty sure 68 fits 68 but He seems to know more about 68's.

Ask him if he has a 69 front driver door panel. I needz!
