My first Datsun

Hello, I've been advised to introduce myself and my car so here I am. I'm George and I live up in Shoreline, WA. About 2 months ago I picked up a cool little 1970 Datsun 510 for $2150. It's the same one that sssr20det510 was selling down in Vancouver, WA. It actually made it most of the way up until I started fiddling with the turn signals and it started sputtering. It eventually broke down about 3 miles from my house after about 150 miles! Actually had to get it towed 1 mile to my house luckily my dad has AAA. I've already ripped out basically all the interior, engine/tranny, gas tank, wiring and hornet nests. I've got a KA24DE w/ manual tranny waiting to be put in. Just going to make it a really fun, practical and reliable daily driver that I can keep hopefully for the rest of my life!
Thanks for already helping me with getting along with this project guys, hopefully I can at least have it ready for spring

It's the "super patina" 4 door. I've already passed the front seats on and I'm keeping the back seats.

Oh okay. Wheww... That got me sweating a little. Any way is coming along pretty good, 2/3rd day I had it the engine was already out lol. I'm looking to get brakes and suspension next, then it will be off to the body shop for window and door seals plus a tiny chip repair in the windshield.

Lol. Its a dirty green four door. Not a straight panel. Clapped out interior. Hes got his work cut out for him.
