I Need A List Of Needed Parts

OK, long and short of it is, my 77 620's water pump is out. That explains the fluid loss, etc. I called around the local parts stores and they are insane what they want for this H2O pump! Figure between $50 to $63.00 (plus tax, license and destination charges, plus whatever they can tack on without you looking!). I used to own an automotive parts core company from 1988 to 2007, and I called one of my former customers to buy one of his products. Wow. $20.00! Brand new, not rebuilt, has the fan clutch. But, I have to drive south of Salem from Vancouver. He can't ship it anymore, because he too is closed down. I asked him what else he may have in his warehouse for Datsun's. He said get him a list.

He "was" an Alternator, Generator, Starter and Water Pump rebuilder. He won't have anything else. But he wants to sell what he's got and sell his building, and he's been trying since January. He was full line, so if you need an alternator for a 1980 Buick Rivera, let me know. Keep in mind, these are re-manufactured or new parts and they come with zero warranty, none at all.

I'm planning on heading down on Friday Oct. 11th. Let me know. OK?

Any truck KA alternator. Don't get the car ones, they use a serp belt instead of regular V belt.

What year is your 620? if its got a voltage regulator I can guide you thru how to bypass it. It's really, really simple.

I have a KA alternator, but I wanted to keep it and use it. I have another hardbody KA alternator in my B210

You have to understand, he's a former warehouse, he'd going to need Make, Model and Year's. He can identify parts by sight along with the Lester numbers, but he probably won't know the app besides that it goes on a Datsun/Nissan product. If you have the Lester number(s), that would make this seamless.

what?

91, how about that lol. 91 hardbody alternator. done. i see yours is a 77, therefore its most likely externally regulated. just have to jump two wires and done. takes about 2 minutes. I can't remember if KA alts fit in these well, i'm guessing not and it will require some work. A 720 alternator wont work and they are smaller. requires a different waterneck and something else... probably just better off replacing the alternator. You're in vancouver, i'm a ways out. but i have one that's good n should work. it's off a 510 but plug n play for you.

I'm not needing an alternator, I'm the one needing the water pump which started this whole thing. . .

Oh.. I thought you needed an alternator. I paid like 30 for my water pump, pretty cheap.

Rock auto carter water pump, ten and some change part FP1544 without air conditioning, non clutch fan
with clutch fan, no ac AW9008
