I find them by talking to EVERYBODY that asks me about Smurf and many had one or rode in one. So do you know of any sitting around? These last two came from a guy a spoke to over 5 years ago. This one is a 71and I wanted an early car. this one changes to drive train- A14 and B210 rear end ONLY. Strongly considering putting a 1200GX engine, flat top pistons... and down the rabbit hole we gooo! I have collected most if not all the parts- NO, still need a camshaft-

Im going to be looking further into what cam I need, also, got a spring catalog out to see if I can find a cheaper spring than the aftermarket ones ive found. What springs do you and dave run?

I am patiently waiting for an engine builder with a flow bench to get to my H89 A-series cylinders heads. He has in the passed installed small block chev- 1st gen, valves and springs in Datsun A-series heads. And yes the valve stems are shorten and use chev valve stem seals. I had an A14, race engine that used Isky springs 455-JA-006, specs- http://www.iskycams.com/pdfcatalog/2004-05/page49.pdf, still need dual spring retainers, cost $115 dual springs inner and outer MAX RPM 10,000. Once switch over to chev valves more choices of sizes and materials.
Dave has stuck pretty much to the Nissan parts in his Dan Hart A14 engine, which runs flat tops pistons and a fairly streetable camshaft- it moves out quite nicely- even with me in the car!
