MR2 seats. 30 bucks
OK condition. I think one small spot on driver seat, like a cig burn, tiny. Can't recall. Very comfy, very usable. Paid 60, sell for 35.
Two of the one on the right, passenger and driver. Driver side has a bunch of settings you can change... They hug you for those awesome back road ventures.

You wanna buy em?
I gotta come up with 140 bucks on the double! Once i reach that 140 dollars, A truck will be heading that direction and I could probably arrange him to bring the MR2 seats that way so you could snag them.

Yeah man
I put accord seats in the 720. they fit pretty well. but the back is kinda thick. so either i can have it scooted back but then the back sits to far forward, or scoot the seat forward and have no leg room. I wish it was a king cab. Maybe i should swap a king cab onto the frame then make the bed shorter

The frame might not be long enough for a kingcab cab to sit on it, it depends on how much flat frame is left before the rise over the rear axle.
My guess would be that you need at least 12 inches of flat frame rail, quite likely it's 14 inches, but a couple inches can be dealt with.
It's easier just to buy a kingcab, but this truck has history with you, and I can relate with that.

I just thought of something, you know the 83+ regular cab is bigger(3 inches???), and the box is that much shorter, if you could find the larger regular cab and box, it will likely bolt right on to your frame, but anyone that knows their shit about Datsuns, will know it's not a 1980 cab/box.
In the end, it's just easier to buy what you need already made(stock), take my word for it, it's never just more legroom.
I have found that the bench seats have the most room in regular cabs, as they have skinny backs, another thing you can do is raise the bucket seats, the higher they are, the more legroom you will have.

but the less head room and more chance of smashing your head into the top of the door frame
all good points. I will be doing seats after the trans. it's the most important thing right now. around here its finesitting in the current seats. it's when I drive to portland or further that it starts hurting... maybe i will just leave well enough alone for now, but well see. may as well get it where i want it before i start driving it. take my time and get her dialed in tits.
