this has been a long term project ive had for awhile, I got it shortly after I rolled my Miata and broke my back. _ _ _ <-- insert gay joke here haha. when I got it it was kinda rough with the normal rust in the floor boards and battery area, had the stock l16 with 4spd. progress will be updated when its made which isn't very often I have a problem of wanting to work on a diff car all the time and I have many lol, those will get posted soon. I also have problem of wanting to stick ka's into everything..

when I first got it, and that's the Miata that was rolled beside it..

the po coverd up the rust holes with sheetrock tape and putty..

after all new ign stuff, alt, carb rebuild and fuel pump.





then after I got tired of stock carb







it also got new tires and all the brakes gone thru rebuilt/replaced.

once the new ties were on I decided I wanted some stretch.

yea the backs are 13x10s it wasn't to fun stretching them.

this is at southrn fresh 2 right before i blew up the l16. my 510 is towards the middle of the video.



After the l16 blew it sat like this for awhile. the ka is sitting on the pallet beside it.







shortly after it blew i bought a 92 240sx for $300, drive it to the shop and stripped it down for the engine and suspension. the engine is for the 510 and the suspension is eventually going under my 76 620, the only thing that went to the scrap was the shell its self i got the car with no title. i dont have any pics of it before i destroyed it lol.

the 240 dash was cut down and fitted to the 510, then wrapped.





and this is why you dont leave things around my friends, you wnd up with i luv cock drawn on stuff and dont notice it till after you've took the pic.

after stripping down the 240 the 510 left the warehouse and came home to the driveway for a bit then the garage where the ka is to be put in.









cleaned up the ka intake and removed the emissions.

i took all the wires out of the engine harness for the emissions stuff i removed.





240 tilt column and wheel in. the dash and steering column will go back in eventually, but its back to stock for now.







finally in the shop now gettin the ka in.

some what wire tucked, the maf wire is still out ho i haven't figured out where im gonna run the intake yet. but aleast all the wires except dist wires are hid.





coil, ignitor, and head light wires.



then mazda mx3 seats.



these are awesome in the 510 they sit lower and hold you nicely, and didn't take to much modifiction to put in.
my buddy gave me an under dash ac unit for a 510 he had in his shed.

he also gave me a spare hatch, im not sure what im gonna do with it yet.



started patching the floor pans.





all the welds have been ground down flush now like in the tiny square patch above the big welded in patch. this is where im at right now ive got to get some more sheet metal to finish the rest, theres a good bit i missed ill post the pics and what nots when i find them.

yea I have a problem of collecting cars and taking them apart... im finally down to 9, and thanks.

engine before the wire tuck, I started welding in all the holes that are no longer need to but I have to pull the engine back out to get them all.



510 column compared to 240sx column.



steering shafts compared.



pulled dash to clean up wires and heater unit.



what all has to be welded back in.





dirty mx3 seats siting in there.



going to relocate the ebrake to the trans tunnel using a Miata ebrake.



3 core radiator I picked up at the swap meet for $40 with flexalite fans.





with the radiator in the stock intake clears.



rolled it outside to spray the sanding dust off of it, and clean out garage some.





decided to stick the fattys back on, it almost wouldn't fit back thru the door it literally scraped each side.









prob gonna end up painting stuff like this on the hood and hatch.

an the car that I wrecked before getting the 510. kinda glad I wrecked it or I would have never gotten the 510, but the broke back and ribs part sucked. just had put a new top, tires, wheels, brakes, cobalt quad headlight kit and Jackson racing intake.

about a 3 days after all of that I hit a pot hole and broke the tierod and flipped it three times.

hit a pothole and snapped tierod going into a turn, front end dipped down in ditch and started me rolling it land back in the road in my lane the same way I was going just upside down lol.

yea man cars are good therapy for anything, doesn't matter if im working on them, driving them or just looking at them Its always awesome!

510 is on jackstands now, awaiting the fuel lines ive already bent up the new 5/16 fuel lines. also working on putting z crossmember up under it, hopefully ill be getting some more sheet metal next week to finis the floor boards.
