time for a new build thread...

found all my old oics of the truck too! ones of the day i bought it...

over time i can get the pictures posted in some sort of order..

and so the story begins. back in 07 i picked it up off my dad for $500. stock l20, weber holley, header, auto 3 speed. talllllll...






stock as it ever would be.

then i said fuck it, and this was the fuck it and mono leafed it..




finally figured out the paint.. still the same paint to this day.

then i got my wheels from CL.. $100 wheels, $100 tires... where could you go wrong?

broke a leaf spring one time..

inspired me to go lower.. so i did.

I think the wheels in the last pics would look even better in some sort of charcoal grey or dark bronze...Maybe try out some plast-dip and see what happens!

This is THE 620 that made me appreciate 620s. And got me into the moare low.

i think you need to do the hood black again

more on to the story.

last time i had the 15s on it..

also the last exhaust i built for it when it was new..

got the gmc wheels in these ones..

showed how i ground the front hubs to make em fit.

this was when i had it tore apart to try and bag the back..

never panned out, and i wanted to drive the truck again, so i set that aside..

a while later i did a tranny swap again.. put another good 5 speed in it..

took further action to lower the front.. cut out all the bumpstop mounting metal, and we have room now..
