I want to run some bucket seats but I also want to keep my back seats functional.
I was wondering if i needed a roll bar or there was another safe alternative to the roll bar.
I want to run a 4 point but I'm not sure how to with bucket seats AND back seat.
I was thinking that maybe i could fab a bar that goes across my pillars and bolts to them.
Then i could put my harnesses on that?

Do you want a rollcage because all the ones I've seen in a 510 has a bar from side to side behind the seat. Would it be feasable to put an upright bar slightly behind the seats from the trans tunnel up. Then a crossbar from it to the driver side upright. Passengers could enter & exit on the passenger side. Otherwise you'd probably have to run the belts to the floor.

I more so had that idea as well. A harness bar is what i need but I'm speaking of the rear passengers needing room.
I don't mind running 3 point but i want my back seats to be usable.
Otherwise I'd run 4 and a roll cage would be pretty sweet + safer.
A tin car isn't much protection.

If you have a harness bar at shoulder height between an upright in the center of the car and one against the b-pillar a rear seat passengers knees should be below the harness bar, or so I would think.
