Here is what I have readily available. Front clip is not off the wagon. The clip on this car actually came off a parts car as the wagon tin was not the best. Keeping the wagon so that got the best parts.

The one above looks like a nut splitter, to split rusted on nuts. Not sure on the Lisle one, but they do make a lot of specialty tools.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

Walking away can be hard after investing a bunch of time to get a car you think is good, but it sounds like you made the right call.

All that prep work sucks balls, but once you lay down the color, it all seems worthwhile. What type of primer you shooting?

Re: Around Waynos house

Definitely clean up the wiring. Can be as simple as wrapping in electrical tape. Give the buyer less things to question. On the firewall, I would remove that stuff and see about having a rattle can mixed up that matches the color as close as possible. Im sure the insulation is there to try and quiet...

Do you have access to a FSM? That should spell out the R&R procedure for the engine.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

I had a similar issue with the air box filling with oil on a FJ1200 I used to have. Turns out it was the carbs flooding and filling the crankcase full of a oil/gas mixture, so once I started it, it just pumped the mess into the air box and then all over the back of the engine. Maybe drain a little o...

Re: Waynos work truck.

I would guess if it goes to insurance there is a good chance it will be totaled. The only way to avoid that, and the salvage title would be to not make a claim. You could try and push the issue of value but if the insurance finds out the “modifications” you have done, that may only make matters wors...

Re: Around Waynos house

Now that I’m a lot closer to the Neal’s place I really wanted to attend this year but the timing with work/other shows sucked. Already have this penciled in for next year. I’m planning to attend a Subaru show at Ridge Motorsport and the Shasta Datsun meet next month. Wayno, I think you know may who ...
