Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

The shaft is a super simple item to make. Metric shoulder bolt with a tig welded key drive on top. I want the worm gear drive for the tack cable!! Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

I have to do a tach for the A12 in my car. So give me examples and this could be a reasonable item coming up.

Yeah I have to use a broach arbor. I have the .125" broach I just need the press now. Oh and make the 1.125 insert broach guide with shims.

Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

Test fit for the pulley is good. It's a little snug but doesn't need a pulley remover. Gotta put a key way in this thing.

Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

I am going to make some camber plates for the 1200 that also have strut brace locations should anyone want to add one to the kit.

Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

I have heard on the OZ grape vine that its one of the better mods for the money.

I cant validate or confirm those claims but plan to reef on the 1200 a bit to find out how it feels off and on.

Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

Im going to media blast it to a dull matte finish, anodize it red and call it good.

I like dull uniform finishes on the aluminum. Shiny give me acid re-flux.

Re: MD-Machinst 72-1200 (Mattndew76)

Just joined the "chub club" what benefit is offered by the twin pulley head. Will your kit work on both? Seems I have heard of people using the stock turbos from some of the Subaru models. How will you incorporate the bike carbs into the big picture? Just checked, still chubby. Separate pulleys on ...

I think the A12 could turn the Paxton.

No Idea what the turbo is off of. Check out the size difference though :D

It was this or I use my Paxton and that thing is huge.

I am slowly getting my head gasket design refined and will send it off to have it made for me.

Re: the mine now coupe.

After reading your issues with Carbs and other forum dilemmas about carbs.. I have come to the conclusion I am going to save money to have a specialty shop tune the hell out of my CVK's..
