Re: Around Waynos house

Yea, that rod looks bent to me. Bent sucks but may run fine. Twisted is a different matter.

Re: Around Waynos house

I think SD25 pistons are only shared with the SD23(bored out SD20, while the SD22 is a stroked SD20).

SD25 and SD22 have the same stroke. It may be possible that it has a SD22 rod, especially if the SD22 and SD25 have pistons with slightly different pin heights.

Either different Piston or different Rod.

Re: Around Waynos house

What is the bore size/stroke length? My guess would be that there is enough side load on the pistons due to Nissan probably just making the stroke bigger. So when the Crank is shoving the Piston up, its scuffing more on that side.

Piston 3 being lower is weird, I do not know enough to even guess.

Re: Jacob's goon build

I suppose a update might be in order. Not a whole lot has happened... I got the car on the ground! Decided it would look nicer in the garage if it wasnt on jack stands. https://ap4tfa.bl.files.1drv.com/y4mna1QVULqz0a-MKfH84st82LXsPFU4l2igjok6BxxMbIPasB96E-3E8vUmcqzR-CLaINcMD7i2jmXnLlsw9Dz1_X8Grq2Fy_...

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

My garage was definitely worse. It was a little bad before the engine swap on the BMW, but then I did that, and without much cleanup, went straight to the transmission rebuild. That was hard to recover from. Floor is spotless now... and I am moving... Yea, when I first cut into the frame rails of th...

Guns are fun. That folding stock is pretty cool. Too bad you cant fire it with it folded. Also, that stock on the rifle sure is pretty.

FRSport is real interesting. And I have never had them respond to an email. But I have always gotten what I ordered and then some.

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

The reviews for those fans have me believing they are pure gold. So many reports of 3 years on without issues. They are so cheap, you could replace it 6 times over before hitting the price of a Spal.

I said that...

But its all just basic aluminum channel with aluminum sided foam for the panels. Would be relatively easy to make.

Re: Waynos 1966 datsun 520 ute

I have installed soooo many bed covers. My favorite brand was Undercover, as they had the best mounting and easiest operation. Besides a full hard cover tonneau, the tri-fold was my favorite. https://undercoverinfo.com/undercover-flex ^not that they will have anything for you. But as a good example.

Re: Waynos work truck.

If its starting with a screwdriver, you may try a thicker Positive cable to it. And maybe even run a dedicated Ground strap for the starter.
