Re: LZ20 engine build

They are flat tops.

I would have passed on this motor if it wasn't.

Re: LZ20 engine build

Is it a Z20 from a truck or a car? That I am not clear on. My guess is car because of dipsticks location, front. There is a hole in the rear with a plug for the dipsticks to go there too. All say displacement, but if waynos engine gets 8 miles to the gallon...there really is no reason to be driving...

Re: LZ20 engine build

I'm asking because I happen to have a Z20 engine here with all the L20B to assemble it.

Arguing with my self about putting that together or removing the pistons and using those in the L18 I have with L16 rods on an L18 crank. Either option would use a W53 C/C head.

Re: LZ20 engine build

Bump.

What ever happened with this motor?

How does it run? How's your gas mileage?

I have posted 3 times , 3 individual posts, since June.

Did not stick around long enough to see if I had gotten a reaction.

Someone sent me the ratsun link to this Brooks show. Sounds great that someone is trying to keep the spirit alive.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

I thought Idahoans would love building that wall.

Wind sucks. I was in Baker City, OR last week when they closed 84W due to wind.
Had to stay overnight until that died down.

Is it Ratsun, or a particular moderator?

I know what I think.

Why not both?

It'd be huge if had less stuff. I just can't figure out how.
You can at least bring all your Lego's over here. That's a bin or two out of your way.

Is that a box of Legos, right behind the driver's seat?

Drove to a job in the dark this morning. Huge improvement.

LED headlight bulbs will greatly improve those backwood night drives.

Your Canadian smoke is all the way down here. Maybe 1/2 mile visibility.
