Re: Gray Man, Inc.

I've never ridden one. I don't even like riding 4Wheelers at any real speed. I'm paranoid I'd get tangled up with it if I went off the road or tipped over. I've always been much more comfortable on 2 wheels.

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

Another side project... My dad just bought this trike from a buddy that quit riding. I guess that's something that happens when you reach a certain age. The plan is to spiff it up and flip it in the late spring, early summer. It's in pretty decent shape. The rocker boxes seep and the LS airshock lea...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

100 mile shakedown ride to the lake to test out the refreshed engine. Ran just fine. Easy 50-60mph two-lane twisty asphalt. https://i.postimg.cc/rps8Q8sw/20240320-153901.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4yBLLTmX/20240320-154050.jpg I'm working the next 2 weeks straight. Hopefully after that I can trail test...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

I know a couple guys that do it but I've never asked how much they make. It's a job, like everything else. If I was 20 years younger and single...maybe. I'm already on the road more than I'd like to be.

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

It's all new territory for me. 90s Chrysler products are pretty crappy and the only reason I bought this thing was the Cummins. It really does run good and I haven't seen any black smoke, so I assume whatever has been done to it is on the conservative side. I need to just put some miles on it to get...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

I took 6INAROW for a drive today. Actually, this is the first I've really driven it beyond my driveway. Ran to the truck stop and topped it off. Trip to get it home was 18.3mpg running 70. https://i.postimg.cc/fLFsK6NW/20240308-115043.jpg Maybe you guys with more Cummins experience can educate me. I...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

I stopped by my dad's to see what he was up to and got there just in time to help him wrestle his de-arched rear spring back in. It's about a 2" drop. He may still do a 1" shackle drop on the front. I think it needs just a bit of rake. Maybe it's just right though, since the tires are all the same s...

Re: Around Waynos house

I have the folding portable style. I haven't ever used them though. I bought them to use with a solar generator.

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

Like I said, impulse buy. It wasn't something I was looking for. My dad's buddy has had some health problems since his wife died a couple years ago. He decided to liquidate everything and move in with his sister in Ohio. This thing hadn't been driven in 2 years and the paint is horrible. But for the...

Re: Around Waynos house

I replaced single pane aluminum with double pane vinyl. They were thicker to the outside as well as inside. I removed the interior flat casing in one piece, as a box, and ran then through a table saw on all 4 sides -- if that makes sense. Then I nailed them back in place with shims to center everyth...

Re: Around Waynos house

It'll look fine, just takes time to get used to it. I replaced all the windows in my Hillsboro house by myself. The worst part for me was cutting back the cedar plank siding. I was working for a door place at the time and has access to PVC composite trim to finish it out.

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

I'll be keeping it for now. It'll be the new communal tow/haul mule so my dad will be selling the blue GMC. Previous owner claimed pretty consistent 18mpg towing a 5th wheel toy hauler with a couple Harleys inside. Would you believe I only paid $1500 for it? 2 new batteries and fresh fuel got it hom...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

I bought a couple spare swingarms and promptly cut them apart to stretch them 2". I offset the cuts by 2" so that one could be slugged and stitched, while the other will need filler pieces. I finished the easy one today. https://i.postimg.cc/nhc9SYKh/20231225-114105.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/rw3yGSQb...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.

Ironically, these old Ford pickups take a SBC a whole lot easier than a SBF.
