Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

I spend a lot of time around here pulling weeds or spraying Roundup on them, I have paths on my east and north fence lines that grow weeds 3' tall, also weeds grow under the grape vines in the photo below. https://i.postimg.cc/qMQ8QkLM/006.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/3xc25nVs/008.jpg It's never ending ...

Re: Waynos 1966 datsun 520 ute

Today I pressure washed the bed of the truck with my rotating head tip which will take everything down to the bone by the second pass over the body, I had to go to the doctors once when it went thru my shoe into my foot, I went in to the doctor because I was afraid I had shoe in my foot. Anyway once...

I test drove this today, no more noise caused by the fender well extensions, all is good again. :)

Re: Waynos 1966 datsun 520 ute

I drove this truck the other day and made a terrible noise, it was the inner wall of the fender wells I added as that area was not attached to anything so it vibrated against the box bed where it was touching, it was very loud at certain RPMs. So today I ran some errands and picked up some seam seal...

Re: My 1969 Datsun 521 kingcab diesel

I changed out the turbo piping today, I got rid of that ABS stuff and used 2 turbo elbows and hangglider frame tubing, it appears to have worked out great but I have not test drove it yet. https://i.postimg.cc/hvXz6SBn/010.jpg I had to remove the large front brake reservoir. https://i.postimg.cc/CMG...

Re: Around Waynos house

I guess I should have started a thread about the adapter plate I made here instead of this thread, but I originally just did it to see if I could do it, that is why it was put in this thread. Andrew(Bananahamuck on Ratsun) posted a response in my thread about this plate I made over there, I guess JJ...

Re: Around Waynos house

I made a stand for the TommyGate so I could show it working and use it if I wanted to, say to get something heavy high enough to get into the 521kc or 720kc, I would not trust it to lift something really heavy, but I am pretty sure it will lift a block. https://i.postimg.cc/ZRTvpWQL/010.jpg I have n...

Re: Waynos work truck.

I just got back from driving this truck over a 100 miles and there is one drip on the board below the tail shaft, need to change the seal but not in a hurry for one drip. It drove good in all gears, I adjusted the timing to around 8/10 degrees BTDC and I think it is slightly knocking, need to go bac...

Re: Waynos work truck.

I pulled the transmission, fixed the issue I hope, and replaced the transmission, here is a photo of it out again. https://i.postimg.cc/d0TX57dB/015.jpg It turned out to be the front cover(I believe), when I removed it there was no gasket, I am not sure how that happened but there was no gasket on t...

Re: Waynos work truck.

I pulled the fill plug and about 8 ounces came out, so far only one drip when I drove it 2 miles. When it was in the air I seen that fluid had been coming out the transmission clutch arm hole also as I don't have the rubber piece in that hole right now, I still suspect I will have to remove the tran...

Re: Waynos work truck.

It's always going to be something, I used this truck to do a small job and when I went to leave I noticed a puddle on the ground just under the hole for the bell-housing area, so the transmission worked flawlessly, but a puddle. Before I put the transmission up in position I turned it on its side an...

Re: Around Waynos house

That is why when I buy them wheels they have to be holding air on the shelf, even if they are half flat I will not buy them, I actually look for the ones that are fully inflated and almost rock hard. I have enough of them tires that lose all their air overnight, with weight on them after they go fla...

Re: Waynos work truck.

I never thought I could do it in one day anymore but I did it, I removed and replaced the transmission, I also pulled the transmission apart and found a bad bearing as I suspect the fluid got too low so I pulled apart the other transmission I had and looked it over real close, I found none of the bi...

Re: Around Waynos house

The tires are rated for 300lbs each, I do not know what the flatbed weighs but I am sure your sprayer is a lot less weight, 2 of them are good for 600lbs, but like I said the hubs/rims are not that strong with side pressure. I paid $6.50 each and I made sure they were holding air before buying them,...
