At least you’re trying to steer him straight. As long as Barrett Jackson doesn’t get one.

It looks small enough that the bro-hauler can pull it too.

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

I probably will. I’ve already bought a cheapo battery box for the trunk, I just don’t know if I wanna run wires for it. Although that’d probably be easier than welding in a new tray.

Semi-stock looks, but I’ll want to use the trunk too and didn’t want to take up too much valuable space.

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

Funny thing about the battery trays is that a lot of people cut them out. Mine was gone when I got the car and I’m going to have to fabricate one. If I was putting any engine other than the L20 I’d leave it out.

Isn’t it supposed to have a little shelf on it or am I remembering the wrong one?

Yeah I’ll check out the pressure plate too. Basically I’ll start with the easiest and go from there.

Re: Hard headed Hardbody

I know that the noise is there when sitting still. And I’m 95% sure that the noise is coming from the transmission, and not the engine. I just can’t remember from the one time I drove it if it stopped when I pressed the clutch or not. I already have a new carrier bearing for it, so that will be repl...

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

Exactly what I was thinking. It can get cold here but I guess that’s relative. Today the high is 40° with a low of 25° tonight. So, kinda cold for here but not really for Idaho. I mentioned the idea to the wife last night and she’s all for it, but I have to put a mop sink in the garage too now. So a...

Re: Hard headed Hardbody

Duly noted. It’s an 86.5. I was just going off what the previous owner said as far as them being the same, assuming he had checked it out. Yeah, I know, don’t assume. I had already planned on draining it and dropping it out but only after I get the title back. And I don’t plan on running it until I ...

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.

How close is the nearest hot and cold water? I bet you could have it done in a Sunday afternoon. I could. Nearest hot & cold is routed through the garage (floor joists overhead) going to various places in the upstairs living area. So roughly 16’ and down a wall. Through the exterior brick and solde...

Re: Hard headed Hardbody

I would keep the 720 also but I don’t really have the room for it. I already have six vehicles at my house now although the two 510’s are hidden from view. And in my neighborhood I don’t want anyone saying anything about it.

Hard headed Hardbody

This isn’t going to be a build thread per se, but probably just a spot to dump a chronicle of what I end up doing with this thing. The story on it is that I first came into contact with it about 2012ish. It was bought by one of the installers at my work from someone who had cobbled it together from ...
