New to Forum.

Hi to all. I am a new member on this forum and fairly new to Datsuns. I have worked on Land Rovers and Land Cruisers as a pastime for most of my adult life, but a bit over a year ago I purchased a 1970 Datsun U521, had it delivered and began a restoration. I finished it in September of this year and along the way became the owner of a 1976 (I think) U620 that was going to be scrapped. Then, a couple of weeks ago I came across the U320 and was told by a forum member that it was worth saving. So now, I own three utes.
I plan to work on the U620 next, but am not feeling a resto, rather a high performance (relatively speaking) street driver. Not sure what to do with the U320, but I have room to store it until I figure out what to do with it.
I am not that computer savvy, so if the links to the images don't work I apologize.

Dude!!!!

You have some very cool cars! I'd love to have that 521 ute thingy lol. Very very nice. Any interior pics on the blue one? Would like to see the front seats and back seat setup. Too cool man.

Great looking Datsuns my friend ... every single one of them!

I was in Costa Rica once, I was over on the west coast in the town of Jaco (what can I say, I'm an American).
It's such a beautiful place, with wonderful people, but who knew there were cool Datsuns there too?

Welcome to NWDatsuns
:)

Thanks everyone. Izzo, here are some interior shots showing the front and back seats. Hardest part of the resto was adjusting the linkage for the four speed column shift.
Wayno, I lurked on both the websites for inspiration and I have gleaned a lot of information from your posts. Thanks.\

BTW, the gray seatbelt was just to pass inspection as the truck is listed as a six passenger vehicle. I had to add two to the truck right at the inspection station and forgot to take the back one out. You would think that with the strict vehicle inspection they have here you wouldn't see so many POS cars, but you would be wrong/

Oh yeah! I'm rocking that factory optional rear bumper. It was even welded on to the frame for safety. Seriously want to modify it. I have access to just about any Japanese market motor as my friend imports them by the container. Due to Shaken, the strict vehicle inspection in Japan, people change motors like we change oil. About 15 years ago, he offered me an engine that was both turbocharged and supercharged but I can't for the life of me remember the make other than it was overhead cam and had a red crinkle finish cam cover. Do I sound like Grandpa Simpson yet?

Welcome! You have 3 rare Datsuns. I would recommend full restoration on all as the rarity of these vehicles justify it. But hell you own them so do what pleases you. As long as you enjoy them that is all that matters!
