It's interesting. It looks like a roof vent from another car, grafted over the roof of the 620. There is suppose to be a grille that covers the vent. On the inside there is just a round hole with a flapper similar to the air ducts on your dash to control air coming into the cab.

I'll snag a few. Although I don't have the truck.. I just have the title. I'm sure Al will start a thread about it soon over on Ratsun. The flatbed will likely become a regular bed again and this thing will live on.

Price wise, Al stole it.

Ahh, didn't read the ad. Just the pic and price. If I were to buy a truck from up there and had it shipped here it would be from one of youz guise. I've seen 2 or 3 on here I'd love to have bought.

There was a red one of these that was for sale (I think it was $4,500) for a while out in Georgia.
It finally sold, and the buyer shipped it to Nor Cal then started asking something like $11,000 for it.
To the best of my knowledge, he never sold it ... last time I saw it on CL he was asking $8,500.

This one looks a little better from the pictures - still - crazy California prices :P

I was just "window shopping" for a set of these wheels, thinking they might look good on my 510 goon...

Old school Datsun wheels 4lug - $200
Image
http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/5103073055.html

... I don't want to spend that. It's not like I need them, my car has newish (cheap) tires on the stock rims.

:geek:

Then I see this, and I start thinking - wheels - front struts and brakes - 5 speed ...

1982 Datsun 280 zx - $850 (Placerville)
Image
http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5111636988.html

Why buy things separately and pay more? I could get a few bucks for scrap metal on what I don't use!
In California a car newer than 1975 needs a smog, hence the price difference for the early stuff here.

IDK - Maybe I should just stop checking CL ads? :(

I have one, I don't need another one, if I had room for another vehicle, it likely would have been a wagon like the one a few posts ago.

If this had a title I'd be super tempted. I have a sick fascination with these.

A NL320 4x4 ... Not something I would want, but it appears to have be done well.
The seller said it's out of Oregon, maybe someone here knows more about it?

That NL is interesting. Looks like a 2.6 or 2.8 Capri/Ranger engine, T-5 transmission, Jeep rearend and maybe Scout front axle. No idea on the origin of the divorced transfer case. Has some potential as a 4X4 cruiser but far from serious offroad material.

Here's an odd CL post ...

1967 DATSUN 1600 FAIRLADY UNASSEMBLED - $500 (Escondido)

Image
http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/5154013167.html
I bought a running and driving 1967 Datsun 1600 to teach my kids how to disassemble vintage cars.
We are now done with it and it is up for grabs. "NOTE, THE CAR IS COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED."
The pictures are of the car the day I received it. Title is clear in my name and non-op with no back fees.
