Any of the following responses are acceptable:

1. Holy fuck, that's just what I would do!
2. Whoa. - Keanu Reeves style.
3. That's so awesome I have no response at all. I am dumbfounded by your wizardry.
4. Just sell the wagon and get a lowered AWD Subaru, that's what the cool kids do. :D

Oh, it will be sexy. And it will lay bigger patches of tire. At lower rpm.

Lol, then I'd have to be a hipster and start wearing flatbill hats. Plus, after I finish, I'm going to waste all the lowered Subaru Foresters I see, in my lowered Maxima wagon. :) Because Datsun.

So I have a 1400 hp turbo LS ready to go in the wagon....... :fry:

No, not really. But I spent quite literally all day going back and forth between options for engines for the wagon, or selling the wagon and buying a newer wagon like a 2000 Nissan Stagea RS Four. In the end, I like what I have and it will be much cheaper to swap in an RB20. And If I got the Stagea, I would have had to sell the wagon, and I'm just not ready to do that. Can't give in, I love her too much. She's more my style. Not to mention, with the stock RB20DET, it will have plenty of power to be fast, but not enough torque to break the rear end or twist the chassis, and it should get reasonably decent mileage also.

So quick, reliable, daily driver. Check. And not the 13,000 the Stagea was going to be after taxes, license, all said and done. Figure I'm probably going to spend about 3500 on the wagon with purchase and installation accessories (intercooler, mounts, exhaust) and some shop time to wire it up. I'm not doing the wiring. I'm paying my master tech to do that.

Pulled the trigger just now on ebay, shipping out and should be here on or before October 2nd from IchibanJDM. 100% good reviews, checked through, lots of motor sales, looked like legit feedback. Engine inlets and outlets taped off appropriately. Should be good I think. Woo hoo!

And to top it off, the steel wheels I got for the wagon are massively out of balance. I suspect that's why they were circle track made to order. They figure you're going to ruin them in pretty quick order. Decided to order a set of wheels since I'm splurging. And while I could go with something super trick and expensive, I've had really good luck with Rotas, and while I originally wanted Shakotans, I'm actually going with some Grid V instead. 6 spoke looks a little nicer I think.

Lol, wish I were that good! Hopefully by next Canby. I'd also like to yank the diff again and put one of those 2 way block LSDs in it. Not the greatest, but my Datsun guru ran one and said it was effective enough to not be a one tire fryer.

I hope to have the motor in before winter. I'd like to put this project to bed by the time the snow flies. So yep, should be ready by next Canby I'm thinking.
