No... I have something planned...

Today, the car randomly turned the check engine off, passed all readiness monitors, and kept 5 codes...

The wheel bearing I replaced last February started making noises. Got to the point it was noticeable in the city. Jacked the car up on Thursday and holy shit that wheel was wobbly. I attempted to tighten the axle nut more but nope. I ordered a new bearing.

Got all setup today to change the bearing again, but stopped when I realized the threads on the axle were pretty much gone. So I sprayed a shit ton of PB Blaster at the axle splines and re-tightened the nut. Sure enough the wobble went away...

Im sure the bearing is still bad, but I may have breathed some life back into it. Ill probably end up buying a new CV axle too.

Tarp tent is always nice. I have a couple of screws in the house I attach it to. Keeps the rain off you.

So I have been going back and forth on this idea for awhile. What to do about my DD situation. This car is eating shit tons of oil. I also dont want another car payment. And I really like this car. So I did a thing.

That is a 3.0L motor for this car. The wagons never came as 3.0L just 2.5. Plan is to do a simple rebuild and drop in place. Deadline is November as I have emissions then.
Any progress? It's almost November.
