Me too. Thanx.
Short list of plans:
Needs starter and hot start relay.
De-sticker.
Start cleaning up the rust. (Anyone have a good rust repair thread/link?)
Look at seats from a Camry tomorrow.
I have lots of ideas.
Most are likes. I'm just going to start with the needs first.

Lol, many of those hacks are mine to claim aswell lol. Sorry, I was 20, and just did stupid things to keep it going. And it seams it was a tradition that was carried on for the next 8 years. Not my fault lolol.flatcat19 wrote:And dealing with the crap the hack/owner between Banner and myself has done to it.510freak wrote:

Re: Is it getting a little chilly in here?
No. I'm more fussy about all the electrical shit.
The rest of it-fine. You've told me enough times that it's a beater.
I get the kitchen cabinet door pull. I get the odds and ends.
The missing radio that exposes 80 extra feet of wire?
The wires being bolted together rather than spliced?
Trailer wiring harness on an automatic Datsun?
The fucking kill switch?
"Oh, it had a short."
No. It has a draw. See the brake lights that are stuck on?

Re: Is it getting a little chilly in here?
I'm kidding.
Adam-I love the car. That was a good ride home.
Got to know her a little bit.
She cooed. She shook her rattles. She whined a little bit. Told me my most immediate things to do with her.
I've told you.
This is about to get fun.

Re: Is it getting a little chilly in here?
glad to hear that you made it home with no problems. If you would have broken down, I would have just sent the wife. lol If only I hadn't forgot my phone, we would have been out of their sooner
it was great meeting you and putting a face to a name. I notice once you left the valley that it started to get hotter. Thanks for the temp cool down here.
Adam hung out for a while after you left so he could get his phone charged up, had a good chat and love the story's he tells.
Lou, we will meet. if I read right, you're going to Canby 2014. Plus we will pick up on our pm chat once fall gets closer.
Flat, get that parts list started, the more you want, the price gets better (for you). Can't wait to see your thoughts come to life, It's going to be one of the coolest A10's wagon around.

Turbines are gone.izzo wrote:I'm picking up a set of turbines just like that soon hopefully. in exchange for working on a clutch on a Z car.
Adam came and swapped a little bit ago.
I am now rocking the white walls on 13" steels for now.
It is fairly low in my list, but I am looking for wheels.
14-15". 7 or 8" wide.
Would love some slots or low offset steels.
