Sorry, I was channeling my inner flatcat.
Re: BLUE72
I was really surprise that there was still air in the tires, when we pulled it out of there.

Re: BLUE72
Did the 1200 grilles ever have an option for turn signals in them? Or did this perhaps have a custom grille for it?

Re: BLUE72
I haven't seen 1200 grilles with turn signals, not in Japan either. This was a parts car for the guy I got it from and there wasn't a grill for the car. Since no front bumper, perhaps they were putting lights in the valance bumper brackets holes??

Re: BLUE72
Could be. When I asked those questions, it was in hope that you had some super secret sacred grille or a really cool custom one to show us

Re: BLUE72
I would like to use a LED turn signal, the size and shape of the one on this GT350, the scale of the bumper and the rest of the car I find very appealing!

Re: BLUE72
Me too. Always been a fan of the old mustangs. I'd like to own one. Buddy of mine asked me why, and stated that everyone has one. I beg to differ, I don't have one On some of the mustangs there were turn signal indicators in the hood. Kind of a cool feature. Also liked to old muscle cars that had a tach in the hood. It was different, kinda pointless, but cool.

Re: BLUE72
I can't believe you keep finding more 1200s. Any idea how long it's been off the road? Planning to part it or fix it?
When the only tool you have is a hammer every problem starts to look like a hippy.

Driven:
I found this car 2 blocks from the Hillsboro Airport, the last time it was registered was in 2007. I think some one was in the middle of a clutch job, as the tranny was out along with the flywheel-it's in need of a trip to the machine shop!
I am going to fix it and drive it. I realized that I have never driven a sedan. I would like to put a few thousand miles on one and see if I like. MAY have another coupe coming my way soon!
Not into "both kinds of music - country and western" BUT I always had a great respect for "the man in black" your avatar was his response to critics about his career, he treated everyone with respect-I miss him!

Re: BLUE72
I had a sedan first and then a coupe. The sedan has a bit more headroom and the interior has a slightly different sound to it. I actually like the sedans slightly more than the coupes and I really love the coupesMorrisun wrote:Driven:
