I was thinking just get a new trunk and treat what little rust is left. Could you email me the pics you got?
Trying to decide if I'd rather have the pickup of the 710 LOL.

Re: CL ads
It's not quite a Craigslist ad, but The Speeds Auto Auction is every Tuesday and tomorrow's (Sept 3rd) sports 2 1/2 Datsun pickups:
http://auctions.speedstowingauction.com ... atsun&so=1
#1 is a 74 620. Looks to be in nice shape (http://auctions.speedstowingauction.com ... _i17180771) but it is listed as a "Non runner." Chances are, it will sell for about $400 after paperwork fees.
#2 is an 81 720. Looks to be in questionable condition http://auctions.speedstowingauction.com ... _i17180797 and is listed as "Runs with problems." That's all you get. Again, chances are it'll sell for about $400 after paperwork fees.
#3 is a toad. Someone put a pretty heavy looking camper on a Datsun truck bed trailer. Heaven only knows what the rest of the story might be http://auctions.speedstowingauction.com ... _i17180728. This one will probably go out the door for less than $200 after paperwork fees.
When I was looking for my 620 to buy, I went to this auction, they move pretty quickly. Buying an auction number for the year runs $10.00, and yes they will do it online with a live feed of the auction.

There comes a time when reliving your youth, requires the acquisition of a Datsun, like the one you drove in high school and the other one when you were just done with college. The issue then becomes. . . Fitting again, behind the wheel!

Re: CL ads
I'd rock that blue 720.
Or just take the Z22 out of it and scrap the rest.
You'd come out ahead either way you go with that thing.

Re: CL ads
Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing on the blue KC.
Wouldn't take much to get her back together. I NEED a truck. Almost bad enough to let go of what I got now.....

Have a lead on a 620 but its lightyears away. then dave bothwells show truck for 500, then a few locally for around 1000 but blown motor, or effed up cab and cut wiring... tore up... blah
People askin to much for their busted rides these days

This one didn't sell at all. I might have to inquire why!METSystem wrote:#1 is a 74 620. Looks to be in nice shape (http://auctions.speedstowingauction.com ... _i17180771) but it is listed as a "Non runner." Chances are, it will sell for about $400 after paperwork fees.
Got real close on this one, it went for just under $375.00.METSystem wrote:#2 is an 81 720. Missed this one. . . $230.00 took this one home. Maybe the inside of the camper was decent? Did any of you guys get it or the 720?METSystem wrote:#3 is a toad.
